OUTLINE

1. What Operating Systems does OUTLINE support?

OUTLINE will work with any Operating System that supports Adobe AIR.   It is currently certified to work on the Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating systems.

OUTLINE has been reported to work on the Linux and Mac OS operating systems. It is however not certified as yet for use on these operating systems.

2. What are the hardware requirements to use OUTLINE?

The minimum configuration required is as follows:

  • CPU: Intel Pentium 4 equivalent or newer.
  • Memory: 512 MB or more.
  • Hard Disk: a minimum of 100 MB available hard disk space.
  • Internet Connection: 512 Kbps or faster.
3. Is an Internet connection required to be able to use OUTLINE?

You will require an Internet connection to download OUTLINE since it is delivered electronically.  Post-install, in the absence of an Internet connection OUTLINE will continue to work, but in reduced functionality mode.

4. What happens when my subscription expires?  Do I lose all my data?

An OUTLINE subscription gives you access to the extruder libraries of your choice, continued updates, upgrades and support.  All data you create using OUTLINE remains only on your computer and will continue to be accessible even after your subscription expires.   The data will however not be editable once your subscription has expired since the extruder libraries will no longer be accessible.

5. What languages does OUTLINE support?

OUTLINE is currently available in the English and Japanese languages.  If you wish to be notified when support for additional languages is added or would like to request support for a particular language, please contact us.

6. I would like to know if my extruders are supported.

OUTLINE users have access to the largest database of extruder libraries. Click here to check whether your extruders are supported.  If they are not on the list and you would like to have them added, please contact us.

7. I would like to evaluate the software. Can I get an evaluation license?

Please contact us.

8. Is there a multi-user or network version of OUTLINE available?

Not yet, but stay tuned.  If you would like to be notified when a multi-user version becomes available, please contact us.

9. I currently use an older version of OUTLINE.  Is the new version backwards compatible?

Screw configurations created with OUTLINE version 3.0 can be migrated into the new OUTLINE product.   However, screw configurations created with the new version of OUTLINE cannot be migrated into OUTLINE 3.0.

10. I use OUTLINE 3.0 and would like to upgrade to the new version.  Is an upgrade license available?

PRODUCTLINE

1. I would like to purchase PRODUCTLINE but cannot find a buy link on the website.

PRODUCTLINE is currently not available for sale since a new version is approaching release.  If you would like to be notified when it becomes available for purchase please contact us.

Orders

1. What forms of payment do you accept at your online store?

You will be able to use all of the payment options that Paypal offers in your country. These typically include, but are not limited to, Visa & MasterCard.

2. I would like to purchase OUTLINE for use at my company but do not have company authorization to purchase online.  How do I purchase an OUTLINE subscription?

Please contact us and ask that a representative take your order.  You will be invoiced for offline payment and your account will be setup on receipt of payment.  Instructions on how to access, configure and use your account with OUTLINE will be sent to you.

3. I completed payment and received a message that indicated my order was successful.  I have however not received my invoice/ information on how to setup/access my account.

Please check your junk mail folder to see if your junk mail filters have routed it there.  If you want us to re-send the order confirmation e-mail, please contact us.  You should ensure that e-mail from sales@sigmalinesix.com and support@sigmalinesix.com is not sent to your junk mail folder since you will receive order and support information from these e-mail addresses.

4. I ordered a subscription online.  What will the charge on my credit card statement show?

Your credit card statement will contain a charge from STEER IT.

5. I encountered a problem during the order process.  What should I do?

Please contact us with a description of the problem you encountered.  A representative will contact you no later than one business day to help resolve the issue.

Billing

1. I ordered a subscription via a customer service representative.  How will I receive the information required to access my account?

You will be mailed an invoice for your order.  Your account will be setup on receipt of payment and instructions on how to access, configure your account and how to download and install the software will be sent to you.

2. Do you auto-bill / automatically renew my subscription?

Your subscription will not automatically renew on expiry.  You will receive an e-mailed notification and/or you will be contacted before your subscription expires, to renew your subscription.  If you would like to setup automatic renewal of your subscription, please contact us.

Product Delivery

1. How is the product delivered? / Can you ship internationally?

OUTLINE is delivered electronically via a download link that is enabled in your account.  This download link will remain enabled for the duration of your subscription.  

Privacy & Security

1. How is my account information protected at your site?

Access to your account is protected using a password, of which you are the sole holder.  Additionally, your entire session at our secure website, from the time you logon until you logoff is secured using a SSL certificate.  Please see our privacy policy for more information.

2. How is my credit card information kept secure at your online store?

We neither capture nor store credit/debit card information at our online store.  To pay for purchases via our online store, you will be transferred to Paypal's secure payment site to make payment.
